WASHINGTON : The US has said that it wants increased dialogue between India and Pakistan on counter terrorism co-operation.
“We have said many times that there is a level of counterterrorism cooperation between India and Pakistan. There is some dialogue there,” State Department Deputy Spokesman, Mark Toner told reporters at his daily news conference.
“We want to see that kind of discussion or dialogue augmented or increased,” he added.
“This is something that’s in both Pakistan and India’s interest to pursue a closer counterterrorism cooperation for the region. It’s good for the region,” Toner said in response to a question. (AGENCIES)
