38 bags of Govt ration seized in Budhal

RAJOURI, Apr 12: With the seizure of 38 bags of ration, the police foiled an attempt of black marketing of Government supplies from the store of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
Official sources said that a Budhal police party led by SHO, Sanjay Raina during routine patrolling this afternoon, found 38 bags of Govt rice lying on the road side at Kewal village near Budhal. The people carrying the supply, slipped away on seeing police party coming nearer.
After preliminary inquiry, it was established that this ration supply was meant for public of the area and a local dealer was trying for black marketing of the Government ration. The police seized the ration and registered a case FIR No. 18/ 2019 under section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act. Further investigation was in progress.
