3734 pilgrims pay obeisance at holy Amarnath cave

SRINAGAR: A fresh batch of 3734 yatris paid obeisance at the holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas, where so far over 2.40 lakh pilgrims had darshan of the self made Ice-Shivlingam since the commencement of the 40-day-long yatra from June 29.

An official Spokesman said here this evening that the annual yatra to the holy cave shrine is progressing smoothly from both Baltal and Pahalgam tracks, adding that this was the 25th day of the Yatra.

Since the beginning of the pilgrimage, 2,40,249 devotees had darshan at the Holy Cave, majority of whom had since returned to their homes, the Spokesman added. (UNI)
