JAMMU: Government on Thursday said that 363 terrorists and 71 civilians were killed in the last two years in different incidents across the State.
In a written reply to the query raised by the MLA Sat Pal Sharma, Minister In-charge Home Mehbooba Mufti said that in the last two years, 363 terrorists and 71 civilians were killed.
She said that in 2016, 20 civilians were killed by the terrorists and due to cross firing.”In the same period, 31 local militants and 119 foreign mercenaries were killed,” she replied.
Meanwhile in 2017, 51 civilians were killed and 213 terrorists including 86 local and 127 foreigner mercenaries. (AGENCIES)
