JAMMU, Mar 21: On personal intervention and directions of Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand the Education Department today made 3150 promotions.
The promotion orders in respect of 521 gazetted and 2629 non-gazetted employees have been issued under different categories.
65 Sr. lecturers/ZEOs were promoted to Principal, 50 Headmasters to ZEO and 406 PG Masters/Teachers have been placed as Incharge lecturers in different subjects.
