UDHAMPUR, Sept 18: The police recovered 300 ltrs of Kerosene oil from Roun Domail, area of Udhampur and arrested two persons in this connection.
Reports said that based on a reliable information, police party from Police Station Udhampur and Police Post Roun Domail under supervision of Zahid Saif Wani, DySP Hqrs, Udhampur and led by Insp Sanjeev Chib SHO Udhampur, assisted by SI Jaswinder Singh (I/C PP), laid naka near Roun for checking of vehicles.
During checking, police party intercepted one Alto car bearing registration No. JK14A-8234. During checking, 300 ltrs of kerosene oil was recovered from the vehicle.
The accused driver of the vehicle, identified as Bali Ram, son of Rattan Chand, resident of Kuperla and his associate Sanjay Kumar, son of Prem Nath, resident of Battal Ballian , were arrested on spot and vehicle seized.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 479/18 U/S 3/7 EC Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
