30 nominations filed for JCCI elections

JAMMU, Mar 23: A total 30 nominations have been filed for the elections to the executive body of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).
According to Election president, Shiv Partap Gupta, today (March 23) was the last date of filing of nomination papers for the contest. Today on the last date, a total thirty nominations were received by the Election Commission constituted for the elections of six executive committee members of JCCI.
While five nominations have been filed for the post of president, six for the post of senior vice president, four for the post of junior vice president, five for the post of secretary general, seven for secretary whereas, three nominations for the post of treasurer.
So far, Arun Gupta and Rakesh Gupta are the two direct contestants for the post of president; Anil Gupta, Rajinder Kumar Gupta and Surinder Mahajan contesting for the post of senior vice president; Ashu Gupta and Rajiv Gupta for the post of junior vice president; Manish Gupta, Deepak Aggarwal and Ajay Langar for the post of secretary general; Rajesh Gupta, Raj Gupta, Mukesh Gupta contesting for the post of secretary while Rajesh Gupta-II and Manik Gupta are contesting for the post of treasurer. Some members have filed more than one nomination papers.
Vijay Gupta, Manmohan Singh, Kulbhushan Gupta and Anil Gupta are the other four members assisting Election President.
