30-member Parliamentary standing committee on Home Affairs arrive in Jammu

JAMMU, Aug 20: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs on Friday arrived here on two-day visit. The delegates on August 18 reached Srinagar and held deliberations with top administrative officials on developmental scenario in Jammu and Kashmir especially after abrogation of Article 370.
The 30-member standing committee members reached Jammu in the afternoon.
“The Parliamentary delegation will be visiting bordering Makwal area, Paloura and Katra town–base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, during their stay here,” official sources said.
They said that they will also be meeting battery of officers. (Agencies)
