POONCH, Apr 29: The Police seized three vehicles loaded with 23 bovine animals and rescued these cattle from the clutches of smugglers while foiling smuggling bids in Surankote area today.
Official sources said that police teams headed by DySP Surankote, Tanveer jelani, SHO Surankote Insp Niaz Ahmed and I/C Police Post Behramgalla, SI Sushant Singh established nakas at Behramgalla and other places during checking apprehended three bovine smugglers and seized three vehicles Tata mobile bearing Reg. Nos. JK08E 9640, JK11B 4762 and JK11F 4310 which were on way towards Kashmir.
Three FIRs 81/2022, 82 /2022 & 83/2022 U/S 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act have been registered at Police Station Surankote and further investigation started.
