SAMBA, Jan 3: Three vehicles caught fire at Samba Bus Stand late last night under mysterious circumstances.
According to police, three vehicles JK02 AD-9914, an alto car belonging to Neeraj Kapoor of Samba, JK02 AE 3744, a Gypsy and JK02 AG 8443, an Indica Car belonging to Virender Singh son of Preetam Singh of Samba, which were parked in Samba Bus Stand at Ward No 6 caught fire under mysterious circumstances during late last night.
The people after seeing the blaze informed the Samba Police which swung into action and after hectic efforts controlled the blaze.
The cause of the fire was not know as yet and no arrest has been made so far.
The Samba police has registered a case under Section 174 and started investigation. The incident has created a panic in the area and people apprehend some sabotage.
