JAMMU, Nov 2: Two unidentified male bodies were found today from two separate places falling under the limits of police station Trikuta Nagar area while one male body was recovered from a canal in Trikuta Nagar area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Channi Himmat.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of an unidentified man, who appears to be a beggar, was found this morning near Shiv Temple on Railway Station Road while another body of an unknown beggar was found this evening from Bahu Plaza near Panchayat Ghar.
“Both the bodies were shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem”, he said, adding Trikuta Nagar police has taken cognizance and initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC.
Meanwhile, the dead body of an unidentified Sadhu was found today from a canal in Trikuta Nagar area falling within the limits of police station Channi Himmat. His body was also shifted to mortuary room of GMCH Jammu. The concerned police has also taken cognizance.
