JAMMU, Feb 14: Three teachers from J&K have brought laurels to the Union Territory by getting different categories of prestigious awards during 15th National Maths Convention 2022 by All India Ramanujan Maths Club and National Children Maths Academy India.
More than 1000 students and teachers from different States/UTs of India took part in the convention, where the awards were announced.
Rakesh Kumar Chobber (Sr Lecturer of Maths at Govt GHSS Reasi, was selected for National Best Teacher Award 2022 while Sunny Tandon (Teacher GHS Mangnar, Poonch) was honoured with “Young Achievement Award” 2022. Dr Khalid Nazir (Lecturer of Maths at Govt Boys HSS Uri Baramulla, Kashmir) was honoured with the Award of “ Promoting Mathematics”.
All the Awards were given by Award Committee of AIRMC, headed by eminent Mathematician.
