POONCH, May 13: A team of Poonch Municipal Committee (PMC), in a special anti-encroachment drive launched here today, demolished three structures being illegally raised by some persons.
The team of the PMC led by Chief Executive Officer stormed at the site and removed all the three structures in a swift drive. The land grabbers had narrowed down the passage near petrol pump, causing inconvenience to the general public. The team also seized 45 kg of polythene bags and recovered Rs 8000 cash as fine from the defaulters.
