3 soldiers hurt in mine blast

MENDHAR,  Feb 16: Three soldiers were injured in a land mine blast near the Line of Control (LoC) in Mankote area of district Poonch this evening.
The mishap took place at around 5.30 pm when an Army patrol was moving along the LoC near Chapri and Gian Posts. Rifleman Alok Singh of  Haryana over stepped a land mine which exploded causing serious injuries to his left leg. Two other jawans were also injured in the mishap. While Alok was rushed to Rajouri hospital the other two were undergoing treatment at Mendhar unit hospital.
This is the same area where Pak Army soldiers and crossed LoC and brutally murdered  two Indian soldiers recently.
