JAMMU, Aug 31: Three persons including two women today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences in city outskirts.
According to police sources, a woman namely Suman (24) wife of Vishal Gill, resident of Bakshi Nagar today consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
Similarly, one Ikrar (32) son of Rehman, resident of UP (at present residing in Qasim Nagar, Jammu) also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately shifted to GMC&H by the family members.
In another case, a woman namely Darshana Devi (22) wife of Bharat Bhushan, resident of Chowki Chora also consumed some poisonous substance at her home after which she was shifted to GMC&H Jammu.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
