UDHAMPUR, May 8: Two women among three persons were injured in separate road accidents, here today.
A youth sustained serious injuries after he fell from the moving truck on the National Highway near Jakheni. Identified as Sonu (18) son of Nath Ram of Bishnah tehsil in Jammu, he was conductor with the truck HR37B-3508 from which he fell down. Police shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur.
In another road mishap, a female pedestrian was hit by a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK14C-4741 near Slathian Chowk in Udhampur. Some passersby shifted the injured victim to District Hospital Udhampur. She was identified as Raj Kumari (40) wife of Bansi Lal of Adrash Colony Udhampur.
A female pillion rider sustained injuries when a motorcycle skidded off the road near Jakheni. The injured, identified as Vishno Devi (45) wife of Bansi Lal of Rathian Udhampur, was shifted to hospital by some locals.
