JAMMU, Dec 27: Three persons were injured in two separate road mishaps in different parts of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a middle aged man was injured after the bike he was riding on was hit by a speeding truck at Gole Gujral area of city outskirts.
The injured person identified as Kala Ram (40) son of Baisakhai Ram, resident of Saharan, was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition is stated to be stable.
A case in this regard has been registered at police post Pounichak. The police has also seized the truck (bearing registration No JK08A-5869) involved in the accident and arrested its driver.
In another incident, two motorcycle borne youths suffered serious injuries when their bike got slipped at Mishriwala area of city outskirts, late tonight. The injured youth have been identified as Raj Kumar son of Krishan Lal, resident of Santra Morh and Naresh Kumar son of Darshan Lal of Bathera. Both injured youth have been shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment. The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
