3 injured in road mishaps

POONCH/ UDHAMPUR,  June 16: Three persons were injured in two separate road mishaps in Poonch and Udhampur areas today.
A report from Poonch said that two persons including driver received injuries when a Tata mobile vehicle carrying vegetables from Shopian area to Surankote met with an accident on Mughal Road this afternoon.  Both the injured were provided first aid at Army unit hospital at Pir ki Gali and were then shifted to Shopian hospital.
Another report  from Udhampur said that one person was injured when he was hit by a scooty at Udhampur town this afternoon. The mishap took place when 50-year-old Suresh Kumar,  resident of Pain Billa near Udhampur was moving along the road near Ramnagar Road chowk.  He was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors provided preliminary treatment and then referred him to GMC & Hospital, Jammu. The police has registered a case in this connection.
