SAMBA, Jan 9: Three members of a family were injured in a clash at Salodi Ward No 1 in Vijaypur area of Samba district this evening.
The trio was identified as Tirath Ram, son of Diana Nath, Soma Devi wife of Tirath Ram and Vicky their son. They were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for treatment in a serious condition.
SHO Vijaypur, Arjun Singh said that there was a clash between the two families who happen to be relatives over a land dispute this evening. One family was demanding re-distribution of land which was objected by the other resulting into the clash. The Vijaypur Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law and started investigations in this regard.
