POONCH, July 17: Three persons were injured when the mini-bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Sheen Dara area here today.
The ill-fated vehicle was on its way from Surankote to Poonch, when the driver lost control over the wheels and the mini-bus rolled down into gorge near Sheen Dara area, resulting into serious injuries to three persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
The injured persons were evacuated from the gorge and shifted to District Hospital Poonch, where their condition was stated to be critical when last reports came in. Some more persons were injured in accident, but were discharged after first-aid.
The injured were identified as Sarwar Bi, wife of Wahidullah Shah of Sheen Dara, Zahudullah, son of Mukaiya of Bihar, at present working as mason in Surankote and Zahid Shah, son of Reza Shah of Sheen Dara.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Surankote and investigation started.
