SRINAGAR, Mar 16: Lakes & Waterways Development Authority carried out demolition drive under the supervision of Enforcement Officer in Dalgate Boulevard area in which three illegal constructions were demolished here today.
The demolished constructions included two storey house, concrete block & two storey bed work/ bathroom.
The authorities have further informed the public in general and those living in the jurisdiction of LAWDA in particular, not to carry out construction materials illegally.
“There is a proper procedure for raising constructions for which building permissions are granted as per the BOCA norms. No constructions, however, can be allowed in the restricted areas earmarked by the High Court and the Master Plan of Srinagar city,” informed the authorities.
