RAJOURI, Oct 7: Three persons including two drivers were injured when a tipper and mini-truck loaded with goats collided near Sunderbani today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place at Rah Siot on Akhnoor-Sunderbani-Rajouri road. Tipper No. JK-11B/1804 loaded with bricks collided with mini-truck No. JK02AK/8264. 15 goats were loaded in the mini truck and it turned turtle. Five goats were killed on the spot while others were injured.
The injured tipper driver Mohd Riaz, son of Ahmed Ullah resident of Rajouri, truck driver Paras Ram, son of Garu Ram from Satwari Jammu and owner of the goats Vijay Kumar, son of Daya Ram, resident of Mishriwalla, Jammu were injured and hospitalised at Sunderbani and then referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
