POONCH, June 17: Seven people including three members of a family were injured in two separate road accidents in Poonch district today.
According to police four persons were injured one seriously after a tractor rolled down at Gholad Mendhar today.
Among the four injured the condition of Ziraf Ahmed Khan son of Mohammed Akram Khan of Gholad is stated to be critical. He has been admitted in hospital with critical injuries. The other three persons were discharged from hospital after first aid. The Mendhar Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law. The tractor was without number plate.
In another incident three members of a family were injured after a Tata Majic bearing number JK12-5739 which was on its way from Jammu to Poonch rolled down at Bhata Dhurian near Tota Wali Gali today.
The injured were identified Abdul Qayoom, his wife Naseem Akhtar and son Shoib Qayoom all residents of Chandak.
Qayoom was driving the vehicle when the accident took place. The trio were rescued by a police team from Kallar Police post which rushed to spot immediately after accident. They were first shifted to PHC Pat Dhurian and then referred to SDH Surankote. The Police Station Gursian has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
