KISHTWAR, Nov 17: District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Kishtwar, Ashok Kumar Sharma, today suspended three employees and a lambarder for indulging in political activities.
The suspended officials are Abdul Karim teacher, HS Kither, Mohammad Yousuf, teacher HS Chamoti of Zone Drabshalla, Bihari Employee of SFC, East Division Kishtwar and Mohammad Ismail, Lambardar Kither.
The action was taken after the photographs were circulated on the social media showing these employees participating in a political function.
The suspended teachers have been attached in the office of Chief Education Officer Kishtwar, while SFC Employee shall remain attached in the office of Div. Manager SFC East Kishtwar during the suspension period, a suspension order reads.
The DPEO has warned all the officers/officials not to indulge in any political activity and abide by the Model Code of Conduct in letter and spirit.
