REASI, Nov 9: Three drug peddlers and a rape accused were arrested from different locations by Reasi police.
During a special drive against the drug peddlers, a police team led by Dr Nikhil Gogna, Deputy SP Headquarters, Reasi along with Inspector Ashwani Sharma, SHO Reasi, apprehended Manish alias Munna son of Prem Kumar of Serward, tehsil Katra, in case FIR No 192/2018 under NDPS Act.
Similarly, Ajay Singh son of Varinder Singh of Vijaypur, Reasi and Anchal Singh son of Sher Singh of Bernaili, tehsil Mahore were arrested in case FIR No 194/2018 under Section 8/22 NDPS Act and Heroin recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile in a raid, a rape accused namely Prem Singh son of Amar Singh, resident of Gran Goswan, who was evading his arrest for last six months after the commission of crime, was arrested.
The whole operation was done under the direct supervision of Additional SP Reasi, Shiv Kumar Chouhan and Nisha Nathyal, SSP Reasi.
