JAMMU, Dec 3: Bakshi Nagar police arrested three drug peddlers along with 102 grams of heroin.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Bakshi Nagar Police Station led by SHO Inspector Karan Chalotra under the supervision of SDPO West Amit Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK11-3499.
During checking, police team recovered 102 grams heroin from the possession of three persons riding on the motorcycle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Ranjeet Singh, son of Rikhi Ram, Liaqat Ali, son of Abdul Khaliq, both residents of Village Dhar Sakri, Tehsil Kotranka, District Rajouri and Manohar Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh of Kalsian, Tehsil Nowshera, District Rajouri.
A case under FIR Number 201/19 under section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
