3 die of COVID in Valley, 255 test +ve

SRINAGAR, Nov 26: Kashmir reported three more COVID-19 deaths today, taking the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir to 1668 while 255 people from Valley tested positive for Coronavirus taking the overall J&K tally to 108306.
Those who died today include a 55-year-old woman from Noorbagh Baramulla besides two persons from Srinagar-a 63-year-old man from Gojwara and a 90-year-old man from Chanapora.
With these deaths, the total fatality count in the Valley has reached 1094.
Srinagar district with 415 deaths topped the list followed by Baramulla 161, Budgam 99, Pulwama 86, Kupwara 82, Anantnag 77, Bandipora 50, Kulgam 50, Ganderbal 37 and Shopian 37.
Those who tested positive include 110 from Srinagar, 29 Baramulla, 27 Budgam, 15 Pulwama, 19 Kupwara, 5 Anantnag, 7 Bandipora, 21 Ganderbal, 3 Kulgam and 19 from Shopian.
As per officials figures, 22,708 positive cases including 415 deaths and 20,988 recoveries are from Srinagar, 7,345 including 161 deaths and 6,786 recoveries are from Baramulla, 6,804 including 6,398 recoveries and 99 deaths are from Budgam, 5,036 including 4,800 recoveries and 86 deaths are from Pulwama, 5,133 including 82 deaths and 4,604 recoveries are from Kupwara, 4,519 including 4,318 recoveries and 77 deaths are from Anantnag, 4,374 cases including 4,174 and 50 deaths are from Bandipora, 4,149 including 3,880 recoveries and 37 deaths are from Ganderbal, 2,585 including 2,480 recoveries and 50 deaths are from Kulgam and 2,332 including 2,218 recoveries and 37 deaths are from Shopian.
The total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 5,275 including 3,245 from Kashmir division.
With 471 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 101,363, which is 93.58 percent of the total cases.
In J&K, 2,912,826 samples were processed and, out of which, 2,804,520 tested negative and 108,306 positive. Among them 5,275 persons are active, 101,363 have recovered and 1,668 died.
