JAMMU, Nov 1: The three -day religious function started at Gosani Gund Ashram Laxmi Vihar Tumal Bohri in connection with annual Jag of Swami Atma Ram Ji Maharaj a renowned saint of 20th century.
A large number of devotees and Swami Atma Ram Ji Trust members attended the Bhoomi Pujan function which will be followed by Kalash Pooja tomorrow evening and Puranahuti on November 3 at 11-30 am. Later the prashad will be served to devotees.
After the Bhoomi Pujan today the Trustees threw light on spiritual life of Swami Atma Ram Ji Maharaj. Dr R L Bhat president of the Trust said Swami Ji was a great saint and authority on Shastras. He also highlighted his contribution to Gosani Gund Ashram which had later been turned into a religious seat and renowned saints and scholars from all over country used to visit there for Sadna and Sidi.
