3-day Heritage-cum-Health Mela from May 1

KATHUA, Apr 29: In order to review the arrangements regarding the 3 – day Heritage and Health Mela being organized by District Administration at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Basohli from May 1 to May 3, 2015, Incharge Deputy Commissioner Kathua (ADC Kathua) Mushtaq Ahmed convened a meeting of tehsil level officers of various departments at PWD Rest House Basohli.
SDM Basohli Gurmukh Singh, Superintendent ITI Ajay Kumar, SDAO Tajinder Attri, Principal HSS Shiv Dutt, ZEO Basohli ZEO Mahanpur and other teshil level officers of various attended the meeting.
During the meeting ADC assigned duties to the officers of various department for the smooth conduct of Heritage and Health Mela. The directions were passed to PDD to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the mela. Various department were directed to install the stall in the mela to exhibit the self-employment and other welfare schemes and programmes of their departments to create awareness among the general masses.
The directions were passed to EO Municipal Committee Basohli for ensuring sanitation and cleanliness in and around the venue while PHE Department was assigned the duty for providing drinking water supply at the venue. CMO Kathua was directed to establish a first aid centre with ambulances at the venue.
