JAMMU, May 3: Three persons made abortive attempts to end their lives by consuming poisonous substances at their native places.
As per reports, Rekha Devi, daughter of Krishan Singh of Akalpur allegedly consumed poisonous substance at her native place. Noticing her unconscious, family members shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors washed her stomach and she was responding to the treatment.
In another same incident, Asha Devi, wife of Labba Ram of Deyrian, Akhnoor also made an abortive attempt to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance while Abdul Ahmed of Hindwara also consumed some poisonous substance at his native place.
The duo were shifted to GMCH, where their condition was stated to be stable till last reports came in.
