JAMMU, Jan 7: Satwari police worked out two theft cases with the arrest of three burglars and recovery of stolen gold items.
As per police sources, Satwari police solved two theft cases registered under FIR Number 205/18 and 215/18 under sections 454/380 RPC.
A joint team from Police Station Satwari and Belicharana Police Post rounded up three suspects, who during questioning broke down and confessed for their involvement in aforesaid registered cases.
The name of one of the arrested suspect identified as Babu Ram, son of late Paras Ram of Raipur Satwari has been disclosed by the police, while names of two others have been kept withheld.
On their disclosure, police recovered gold items weighing 100 grams and further questioning of the accused as more recovery is expected from them.
Police team led by SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh and assisted by Incharge Belicharana Police Post SI Lakhvir Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Dr Sunniya Ashkoor Wani, SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh.
