UDHAMPUR, July 12: In a tragic incident, three school boys of Army personnel drowned while taking bath in Nuddan Nullah near Bikram Enclave in Chopra Shop area, Udhampur today.
Identity of the drowned boys was established as ten-year old Ankit Kumar, son of Head Constable Dinesh Kumar, Anurag Rao (12) son of B P A Rao and Abhyan Paswan son of B N Paswan.
They were students of Army Public School Udhampur and had been taking bath in the nullah along with another school friend. While three of them drowned, the fourth one raised an alarm for help but all in vain.
Later, bodies of the three deceased were fished out and shifted to Military Hospital for Postmortem.
Pertinent to mention that earlier also, such incidents of drowning had taken place in this nullah under Thomas Bridge.
