MENDHAR, Nov 13: The police rescued three bovine animals and arrested three persons in this connection at Sanghala Chowk during nakka late this evening.
A police spokesman said that police party led by SHO Sadaqat Qureshi intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle JK-12/1492 and found three bovine animals being smuggled. They nabbed driver and two others sitting in the vehicle and rescued the animals. The accused were identified as Nassir Hussain ( Dvr) from Mendhar, Mumtaz Hussain and Azam Hussain from Surankote. A case has been registered against them.
