REASI, Aug 5: Police has rescued three bovine animals and arrested the accused, who was smuggling these animals to Kashmir.
Acting on specific information that some persons are on way towards Kashmir via Budhal alongwith bovine animals without any legal permission, a Police Party, led by SHO Chassana Salim Altaf Raina, laid a naka near Salar Bridge Lower Tulli and rescued three animals from the possession of accused.
Police also arrested the accused person, identified as Zaffar Iqbal of Phagoli Chassana. In this connection, a case under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Police Station Chassana.
