3 bike riders snatch woman’s purse in Rajouri

JAMMU, Oct 18: Three unidentified bike riders today snatched a purse of middle aged woman from  Rajouri town this afternoon.
Reports said that one Salima Bi, resident of Khandli had gone to the town for the check up of her minor son. When she was moving along the road side near Dak Bungalow, three youth riding on a bike passed closer to the woman and snatched her purse, containing Rs 8000 cash, mobile phone and an ATM.  She raised alarm but the bike riders  sped away and disappeared.  Later,  a report was lodged with the police post city, Rajouri. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
This is the second such incident of cash snatching in the Rajouri town in last three days. The bag containing cash of a wine trader was snatched from his employee  in Bus Stand area during late evening two days ago. The police failed to trace the accused.
