REASI, Nov 15: Arnas police arrested three gamblers along with Rs 20,000 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Arnas Police Station conducted raid and apprehended three gamblers along with Rs 20,000 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Rakesh Sharma, son of Kuldeep Singh, Sunil Singh, son of Fateh Singh and Somu Singh, son of Veer Singh, all residents of Arnas. One gambler, who managed to escape from the spot, has been identified as Ankush Singh, son of Karnail Singh.
Arnas police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Police team led by Incharge SHO Arnas SI Shakeel Ahmad made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Arnas Dr Satish Bhardwaj, Additional SP Reasi Shiv Kumar Chauhan and SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir.
