3 arrested for violating prohibitory orders

JAMMU, May 5: Taking action against the people violating the prohibitory orders issued by District Magistrate Jammu in wake of COVID-19 pandemic, Bishnah Police arrested three persons.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Bishnah Police Station intercepted a car bearing registration number JK02BH-9579.
During checking, police found three persons traveling in the car and that too without masks and arrested them.
Police team arrested the trio for wandering aimlessly in the car and violating the prohibitory orders issued by the District Magistrate Jammu in wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
The arrested persons were identified as Rohit Sharma, son of Ram Murti Sharma of Village Laswara Tehsil Bishnah, Tushar Sharma, son of Kamal Sharma of Bandurakh, Kunjwani, District Jammu and Parvinder Singh, son of Sudhagar Singh of Bandurakh, Kunjwani District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 76/2020 under sections 188 and 269 IPC has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Deepak Pathania made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Jammu Adil Hamid.
