RAJOURI, July 20: The police today arrested three wanted criminals, who were evading their arrests since long.
A police team headed by SHO Darhal, Insp Habib Pathan arrested an absconder namely- Mohd Qasim, son of Atta Mohd, resident of Pargal village in Darhal. He was evading arrest in case FIR No. 52/2016 under sections 376/366/458/343/147/323 RPC at Police Station Darhal. The accused was arrested from Somwali Dhok located on higher reaches of Darhal.
Another police team headed by SHO Manjakote, Insp Ajaz Haider nabbed one absconder namely -Mohd Qayoom, son of Mohd Rafiq, resident of Bata Dhurian in Mendhar. He was involved in Case FIR No. 05/2013 U/S 376/363/109 RPC of PS Manjakote. The said accused person was absconding for the last over five years.
In yet another caseaccused namely, Mukhtar Ahmed wanted in case FIR No.38/2014 u/s 366/376/341 , at Police Station Gursai, District Poonch was also arrested from Panja Chowk Rajouri last night by a team headed by SI Ajaz Mirza of Police Station Rajouri. The said accused was evading his arrest since 2014.
