2nd Nat’l moot court competition organised

NEW DELHI, Apr 29: The Fairfield School of Law, in collaboration with the South West District Legal Services Authority today organized the 2nd National moot court competition here.
A press statement said that the aim of this competition, which focussed on constitutional law, was to provide law students with practical experience of the Indian court system and to enhance their advocacy skills through simulations of court proceedings, including drafting briefs and participating in oral arguments.
Moot court competitions are highly prestigious and hold significant value in the legal system.
The final round of the competition was judged by Nar Hari Singh, a Senior Central Government Counsel and a prominent advocate on record at the Supreme Court of India, along with other legal luminaries.
The students displayed great enthusiasm and zeal throughout the competition. Nar Hari Singh was awarded a certificate of appreciation and a shield for his contribution as a judge in this prestigious moot court competition.
Encouraging the institution to continue conducting such competitions, Singh expressed his belief that they would help students become better lawyers in the future.
