NEW DELHI, July 3: The CBI today moved the Supreme Court for cancellation of bail of Unitech CMD Sanjay Chandra on the grounds of misusing his liberty in the 2G scam case.
According to the agency, Chandra tried to influence CBI prosecutor A K Singh by discussing the strategy to be adopted to derail the case against him.
Singh was later removed from the case.
CBI is relying on CFSL report which has confirmed that the conversation intercepted between Chandra and A K Singh was genuine and has neither been tampered with nor edited. (UNI)
