RAJOURI, July 9: The police seized 27 bovine animals and arrested one person in this connection in Kandi area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that a police naka party intercepted one Mohd Azam, son of Mohd Shafi , resident of Dalhori, when he was moving along with 27 cattle including 23 bulls/calves on-foot on a kucha link road near Kandi. He had no valid permission from the District Administration. The police seized cattle and arrested accused person. He was moving towards Kashmir. A case FIR No. 100/ 2021 was registered against him at Kotranka (Kandi) Police Station.
