26 Valley children return from Sadbhavana tour

UDHAMPUR, Feb 25: Army organized a 15-day Sadbhavana tour for the children  from Tangmarg area of  Kashmir valley to Delhi, Pune and other parts of Maharashtra.
The team of 26 exciting students was flagged off from Srinagar by Maj Gen Rajesh Arya, Chief of Staff 15 Corps on February 9 and reached back at Ziran Army camp Kashmir on February 23. They were accorded warm welcome.  The theme of the tour was ‘Watan Ki Sair’.
In Delhi, these children visited Red Fort, National Museum, India Gate, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple. They enjoyed Malls of the city and also visited several places in Pune, Nasik, Devlali and other parts of Maharashtra. They went to National Defence Academy, beautiful Khadakwasla lake, Khartasar zoo and snake park. The children shared their experiences with the senior Army officers at the flag in ceremony  here.  The motivational tour of the children had been organized by 891 Field Regiment, located in Valley.
