25 people held while smoking in public places

SRINAGAR, Dec 17: The Anti-Tobacco Squad today caught 25 persons including one Forester, two employees of Government Press and a paramedic at Lalded Hospital  while smoking at public places. A fine of Rs. 5800 was recovered from the violators.
The ATS headed by Shabir Ahmed Lone, Food Safety Officer Kashmir also including Fida Hussain and A K Wani from Jammu and Kashmir Voluntary Health Association and Zahoor Ahmad, Food Safety Officer, Budgam inspected various areas and offices at Srinagar, Magam, Narbal and Lalded hospital.
The Squad also challaned 12 shopkeepers who were found selling tobacco products within 100 yards of educational institutions.
