JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Mar 7: Twenty five fresh COVID positive cases were today reported from Jammu and Kashmir while seven new cases were registered in Ladakh.
Jammu region accounted for 20 cases and Kashmir division five.
Among 20 cases, 12 were recorded in Jammu district, three each in Doda and Ramban districts and two in Kishtwar while six other districts didn’t report any cases.
With 36 daily recoveries, number of active cases in Jammu division stood at 160.
All seven cases in the UT of Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
Ladakh now has 119 active positive cases including 117 in Leh and two in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported five fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 3 from Srinagar and two from Baramulla.
With fresh cases the number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 287,168 including 284,580 recoveries and 2,423 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 325 including 165 from Kashmir division.
With 57 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 448,196 which is 98.88 percent of the total cases.
