25 jawans injured as Army vehicle plunges into gorge in Rajouri

JAMMU :  At least 25 jawans were injured when an Army vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir this morning.
“A vehicle met with an accident near Kalsiyan village of Nowshera Sector in Rajouri and plunged into the gorge along the Line of Control,” an official here said.    He said rescue operation was immediately launched and the injured jawans were shifted to the Military Hospital Rajouri.    “Four seriously injured jawans have been airlifted to the Command Hospital Udhampur,” he added.    Condition of all the injured jawans is stable, he added.
