JAMMU, Mar 7: Director General of Police (DGP) K Rajendra Kumar today ordered transfers and postings of Inspectors in J&K Executive Police.
According to order, Gurpurb Singh and Manzoor Hussain have been transferred from Traffic to Kashmir Zone, Maqbool Hussain from Traffic to CID, Nazir Ahmed, Sarabjeet Singh and Mohammad Younis from Traffic to Jammu Zone, Vikas Dogra, Champa Devi and Usha Kher from Traffic to Security, Munish Kumar from Traffic to Crime, Sajid Mughal from Traffic to SKPAU, Ghulam Hassan Kamal from Traffic to Railway, Ashfaq Ahmed, Asif Iqbal and Farooq Ahmad from Kashmir Zone to Traffic, Rakesh Mani and Sadakat Hussain from Jammu Zone to Traffic, Vikas Gorkha and Raj Mohammad Qasim from Crime to Traffic, Mumtaz Iqbal from Railway to Traffic, Farooq Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad and Basanti Bhat from Security to Traffic and Nisar Ali from CID to Traffic.
The transfers were part of special drive undertaken by the DGP to overhaul Traffic Police and make it more accountable.
