JAMMU, Apr 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the promotion of 24 Inspectors of the General Cadre as Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) with immediate effect.
As per an order, those promoted are Riyaz Mustafa, Mir Zahid Hussain, Arif Ahmad Ahangar, Ashwani Kumar Angotra, Nasir Syed Kirmani, Tahir Ahmad Qazi, Iftikhar Ahmad Mir, Ramesh Kumar Pandita, Raj Kumar Dhar, Sunil Kumar Ganjoo, Javid Akhtar, and Ajay Bhat.
Among other Inspector-rank officers who were promoted include Arun Kotwal, Vijay Kotwal, Mohammad Arif, Shabir Ahmad, Kulbir Singh, Manzoor Hussain, Chaman Lal, Sanjeev Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Jagjiven Ram, Naveen Angral, and Som Raj.
