JAMMU, Nov 19: The Regional Level Project Presentation of 22nd National Children’s Science Congress-2014 was held at SKUAST-K Shalimar Srinagar on the prescribed theme, “Understanding weather & climate” with six sub themes.
The Programme is one of the mega events of NCSTC (Department of Science & Technolology), Govt of India which is being organized by J & K Students Welfare Society Anantnag.
70 Students from different educational areas of Kashmir participated and demonstrated their projects in different innovative titles.
Prof Tej Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor of SKUAST-K interacted with the child scientists and held question-answer session with them.
He appreciated the role of J & K Students Welfare Society for organizing such types events for the young generation of the State.
Sonam Lotus Director Mett Deptt, Dr Anwar Ali SKUAST-K, Dr Anuj Sinah former Advisor DST Govt of India and Chairman Network evaluated the projects for on words selection for State Level.
Later-on, Vice Chancellor distributed certificates among the participants, while Shabir Ahmad Shabir presented the vote of thanks.
