JAMMU, Sept 24: Kanachack Police rescued 22 bovine animals and arrested one person.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Rahul Mahajan under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh rescued 22 bovine animals during naka duty at Kangrail, Ring Road from a person who was transporting bovine animals by foot towards Kashmir.
A case FIR Number 116/2022 under sections 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act and 11/12/13 Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Transport of Animals on Foot) Rules 2001 has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
