JAMMU, Sept 1: The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), which met under the chairmanship of Dilbagh Singh, DGP Prisons J&K, Director Fire and Emergency Services has ordered promotion of 216 service personnel of non gazetted category.
The promotes include 5 drivers to mechanic drivers, 1 fireman driver to driver, 104 SG firemen to leading firemen and 106 firemen to SG firemen.
Director Dilbagh Singh complimented the prmotees and advised all the ranks to respond more effectively to the public in distress due to fire and allied disasters.
He further reiterated his commitment for taking all possible measures to upgrade the standards of the services and welfare measures for all the ranks in the department.
